The EU Commission is investigating whether Greece's state-owned Public Power Corp. (PPC) illegally subsidised Aluminium of Greece by selling electricity below market prices. PPC might have undercharged a total of 17.4m euros. The investigation comprises state-owned Public Gas Corp. which is confronted with the allegation of paying the construction costs of a gas pipeline belonging to Aluminium of Greece.
