The rolling machinery manufacturer Josef Froehling, until recently located in Olpe, Southern Westphalia, has now existed for sixty years. In 1999 it passed into the ownership of the metallurgical plant maker Danieli, which is active all over the world. Besides serving the copper and stainless and high-alloy steel markets that are traditional for Froehling, within the Danieli group the company is the competence centre for flat aluminium products. ALUMINUM spoke to the Managing Director of Danieli Froehling, Joerg Schroeder, about the development of the company.
