A new patent has been granted to T.C.S. Molding Systems, an Italian company belonging to the Cannon group, for 'RotorOne', a fully automated installation for diecasting rotors for induction electric motors. This is not a conventional machine that has been equipped and automated in some way, but a complete installation designed and created to produce high-quality rotors automatically. The machine on its own is a novelty, since it was created from 'traditional' components. Although vertical, it remains a cold-chamber diecasting machine, but its special feature is the design and operating principle, which is very different compared with what has been on the market until now.
