Das Umformen von Aluminium und Aluminiumlegierungen unterscheidet sich bekanntlich von der Stahlumformung in vielerlei Hinsicht. In dem Maße, in dem Aluminiumbauteile zunehmend ins Automobil eingebaut werden, entwickelt sich eine speziell auf Aluminium zugeschnittene Fertigungstechnik. Unter anderem ist die großserientaugliche Massivumformung von Aluminium entstanden. Welche Rolle die Auswahl des Umformaggregates dabei spielt, wird nachfolgend aus der Sicht des Pressenherstellers diskutiert.%As is known, the deformation of aluminium and its alloys differs from that of steel in many respects. As the use of aluminium components in automobiles increases, so production methods designed specially for aluminium are developed. Among others, block deformation techniques for aluminium in mass production have emerged. The part played in this by the choice of the shaping equipment is discussed below, from the standpoint of the press manufacturer.
