Greaves et al.n1nreported a measurement of the one-waynspeed of light. Such a measurement seems to put them intonconﬂict with the claim made by Reichenbach2nand others thatnthe measurement of the one-way speed of light depends on anconvention for the synchronization of distant clocks. Be-ncause the authors of Ref. 1 did not explicitly adopt any suchnconvention, readers of Ref. 1 might wonder how, if Reichen-nbach is correct, they are able to deﬁne, much less to measure,na one-way speed.
