Although the heavy equipment sector remains in a cyclical trough, share prices for the companies which make up the ACT Heavy Equipment Index (HEI) have been on a steady path of recovery since the low point in January this year. There have been hiccups along the way, most recently the 'Brexit' referendum result in the UK at the end of June, but by early September prices had risen higher than they were a year ago.
