A unique aspect of SC&RA products is that they often are developed by experts with direct experience in the industry for others involved in the industry. A noteworthy example is the comprehensive signal person training course for crane operations rolled out last autumn by SC&RA and Equipment Training Solutions, LLC (ETS), of Stanford, NJ.rnLarry DeMark Sr., president of ETS, had first-hand knowledge of problems created by incorrect signals. Of his 36 years in the construction industry, he served 18 years as a long-boom crane operator. He still remembers being confused on jobsites by hand signals bearing little, if any, resemblance to the standard signal.
