Ten new industry experts have been elected by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) to serve five-year terms on the commission.rnThe elections followed a decision a year ago by the NCCCO Board of Directors to expand the commission in order that all stakeholders within the industry continued to be appropriately represented. "Rapid expansion of the range of the certification programs offered by NCCCO required a review of the commission structure," explained Commission Chairman Kerry Hulse.rnFollowing the increase in the total number of commissioners from 25 to 30 and a reorganization of the membership categories, NCCCO elected the 10 new commissioners, along with three alternate commissioners, at its fall meeting, heldrnNovember 13, 2009, in Atlantic City, NJ.
