At a customer event in Ehingen in June, Liebherr demonstrated its impressive LTR 11200 telescopicrncrawler crane, showing off the crane's agility, speed and flexibility. The hybrid crane was designed for erecting windrnpower generators, according to the company. The 100-meter telescopic boom (328 feet) and most features of the slewing platform are derived from the 9-axle LTM 11200-9.1 all terrain crane, introduced last year, and already a favorite wind farm machine. The crane features a 4.8 meter (15 foot) narrow-gauge crawler undercarriage and was designed to negotiate the narrow gaps between individual wind towers while fully equipped for operation.
