At the InternationalrnConstruction and Utility Equipment expo (ICUEE) in Louisville, KY, National Crane showed off its new 1100 series mounted on a Prinoth Go-Tract 3000 crawler carrier. The crawler is fitted with a manbasket for utility work and features a maximum tip height of 161 feet. It is equipped with a wireless remote to allow operators to hoist themselves to heights needed for installing power lines. "The tracked carriers makernit much easier for our rental customers to maneuver the crane through rugged, mountainous areas where transmission line right-of-ways are typically located," says Jameson Rinnger with NESCO Sales. NESCO is based in Bluffton, IN and rents specialty units to customers throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.
