For first-time visitors, Bauma can take your breath away. Its a sensory overload of equipment in all directions that's hard to comprehend if you haven't been there before. Billed as the largest trade show in the world, Bauma brings together over 3,700 exhibitors from 63 countries on over 137 acres, 44 acres of which are housed inside multiple exhibition halls. To put this in perspective, ConExpo is held on 57 acres. With five times the number of people attending Bauma than ConExpo, the tradeshow grounds are crowded all day long, every day of the show. This year, Bauma had a record 620,000 visitors from 200 countries. The global presence at the show is so great that North American countries are conspicuously absent from the top 10 countries represented by attendance.
