摘要

More than a year ago, I began to look for a research project that would simultaneously spark a deep personal connection, comply with my graduate school's thesis requirements, and overlap with my professional work. Finding a project to satisfy these criteria was not an easy task. However, by speaking with co-workers and professors, researching emerging environmental issues, and attending national conferences on a variety of environmental subjects, I decided to investigate drinking water issues resulting from uranium contamination on the Navajo Nation.
