Eight photographs have been released by the Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond, Va., in the remote chance that a descendant might recognize a facial resemblance or make a connection with the battlefields where they were found. The photographs include two little girls, a woman, soldiers in full dress uniforms and family groups, and have no markings to indicate who the subjects might be. Each is in a hinged case with a leather or composite exterior.
