1. Growth in GM seed adoption in the Americas is slowing owing to high usage rates (especially in key markets).2. After increasing significantly in previous years, GM sales growth in South America will start to slow, and the growth in GMplantings will ultimately reflect plantings overall.4. Over the long term, companies will maintain their focus on value-added products (particularly multi-stack seed traits) andincreased use of big data. The use of new technology, such as CRISPR-Cas9, will also benefit established seedmakers.
