摘要

The mass attenuation coefficients of Na_2CO_3 solved in water was measured for Na_2CO_3 contents up to 0.191 g of salt in cm~3 of water at the energy of 0.662 MeV emitted from ~137Cs. On the basis of the mixture rule the mass attenuation coefficients were calculated for the Solutions at each salt content. Comparison between the measured and calculated values Revealed, in general, those experimental values of linear and mass attenuation coefficients are Smaller than the calculated ones. The total atomic cross-sections and effective atomic numbers Were obtained for the mass attenuation coefficients.
