Summer is here-that means relaxation, travel, and fun. It also means an increased chance of identity theft. All of your information that you use when traveling-your credit cards, your driver's license, and your passport-are ripe for the picking when you are on the road. For AOPA members, summer travel also includes plans to fly to vacation locales. As with other personally identifiable information, your pilot certificate, medical certificate, and aircraft registration are all valuable pieces of information to you-and to identity thieves.
