Solving safety and comfort problems is the business of Oregon Aero. We travel a lot to meet with our customers. Even before the tragedy of September 11th we were becoming very frustrated with commercial travel. Once it took sixteen hours on the airlines to complete a trip that should have been four hours. We own a Navion Range-master and I realized that the only way I could effectively use the airplane was to get my instrument rating. My schedule is demanding and I knew that I could never get this done on a hit or miss basis. I'd seen the P.I.C. advertisements for years and the ten day intensive training method they described seemed perfect for me. I asked a couple of instructor friends and they recommended it. Since P.I.C. sends the instructor to you, I decided to set up camp in Walla Walla, Washington. I knew we could count on some weather there, and it was far enough away from my business so that I would not be interrupted.
