Professors teaching operations management must help students understand the linkages between classroom theory and real-world applications. The University of Idaho's (UI) production and operations management (POM) faculty works closely with APICS' Northwest Inland Empire (NWIE) Chapter to do just that. UI students and chapter members alike come out as winners.
