摘要

Design and Modeling of Mechanical Systems is considered nowadays as key feature to ensure an efficient behavior of these systems from different point of views. Reliability is considered as one of the main factors that influences the design strategies of a mechanical system. Reliability should allow the system to perform its intended or required function in a safe manner without degradation or failure. In this case, during the design process one should take into account the different degradation scenarios using appropriate descriptors. It is possible now for example to predict from the earlier design stage the vibration or acoustic behavior of the mechanical system.
