Optimization of heat-mass transfer at continuous solid layer crystallization on a belt

摘要

An optimization of separation process at solid layer crystallization on a belt has been investigated both theoretically and experimentally. A method of choosing an optimal crystal growth rate, productivity, belt speed, belt slope, feed mass rate has been suggested. An existence of nonlinear crystal profile has been shown numerically for countercurrent scheme of crystallization. An impact of major technological and physical parameters on the optimality of a crystal surface and its thermal and morphological instability have been investigated. A new process, based on concurrent scheme of crystallization has been detected by computer simulations. High effectiveness of the new process has been proved experimentally.
