摘要

When Sappi Alfeld GmbH decided to rebuild the PM 2 and to convert it to new grades, Nalco in Hamburg was brought into the process as supplier of the retention system. Before the conversion, a conventional single component was used. The retention polymer was diluted using 20 mVh of fresh water. Two crossed injection lances were used for dosing. Jointly with Sappi, Nalco worked out the requirements placed on the future retention system.
