摘要

An isocyanate agent (Desmodure N3800) and three polyalcohol agents (Desmophen 670BA, 1800 and A665, respectively) were used for formulation of the poly-urethane coating with self-healing property. The effect of the chain extender agent (ethylene glycol) and the optimum ratio of the isocyanate to polyalcohol agent were studied. The obtained results show that a hard polymer coating is obtained using Desmophen A665 polyalcohol in the absence of any chain extender; however, a corrosion resistant and transparent coating is obtained using Desmophen 1800 and a ratio of NCO/OH = 2 for pre-polymer formation stage and NCO/OH = 0.85 in polymerization stage by adding proper amount of ethylene glycol. This obtained PU shows the best self-healing properties.
