US-based McDonald's is one of the world's standout brands, withna presence in most countries. It has built a strong international businessnover the past 40 or so years and will soon be able to cross offnVietnam from the list of Asian economies where its famous burgersncannot be found. It will launch its first restaurant in early 2014nin the commercial capital Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam will be then38th Asian market that McDonald's has entered, and judging by itsntrack record in emerging markets across the world, we believe thatnits prospects look strong.
