Japanese broadband operator eAccess has announced that the company has achieved downlink transmission speeds of 291Mbps using carrier aggregation (CA) technology with 4×4 multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) configuration in recent field trials of 1700MHz Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology in the city of Takamatsu, situated in the Kagawa prefecture.
