Thai telecom provider True Corp says that it will invest around THB26.5 billion (USD$866 million) next year, with THB15 billion earmarked for the expansion of wireless services, THB10 billion for the company's broadband operations and THB1.5 billion to be spent on its pay-TV business. CEO Supachai Chearavanont told reporters that True Corp's wireless subscriber base is forecast to reach 26 million during 2013, up from 20.3 million currently, with 3G services due to be launched during the second quarter. The executive also stated that True Corp's pay-TV subsidiary, TrueVisions, is expected to record high single-digit growth next year.
