The government of India announced that telecom tower owners and handset producers will now need to display radiation levels submitted by cellular towers. This comes close on the heels of a recent study by the WHO (World Health Organization) indicating that radiation from mobile devices could cause cancer. The government-led panel constituted by the Department of Telecom has sent its final report on this matter.
