Australian landline telecom service provider Telstra is on the verge of sealing a deal with NBN Co, the firm responsible for managing the deployment of the NBN (National Broadband Network). The deal worth $9.47 billion may conclude as early as this week. Both companies may include a provision to break fees valued at over AUDI billion for safeguarding the interest of shareholders in case the deployment is cancelled.
