Norwegian-owned cellco Telenor Pakistan has launched the nation's first LTE-A network, covering areas of Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi, ProPakistani reports. The system, which the cellco refers to as '4.5G', aggregates its 850MHz 4G spectrum with refarmed 1800MHz airwaves previously used for GSM services.
