PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) is preparing capital expenditure of around IDR30 trillion (US$2.16 billion) in FY 2018 as it looks to support the group's operational performance throughout the year, IndoTelko reports. At a meeting of the board of commissioners and directors last week, Telkom finance director Harry M Zen confirmed that: 'Capital expenditure is still allocated at about 25% of this year's revenue target. Or around IDR30 trillion'. Of the total, around 50% is set aside for the group's cellular business (Telkomsel), 30% for fixed broadband, and the remainder (20%) on other projects. Telkom is targeting double-digit revenue growth this year despite what is expected to be a difficult year due to pressures in the industry - such as the government-imposed pre-paid registration policy based on the Population Identity Number (NIK) and Family Card (KK).
