1.We expect pay-TV subscriptions in Singapore to gradually decline through our 10-year forecast period as over-the-top (OTT) streaming services proliferate. 2.Efforts by operators to reposition their offerings to become ‘mobile-first’ will largely be unsuccessful in reversing the declining market trend. 3.Access to sports, namely the English Premier League (EPL) remain the most appealing prospect for pay-TV services, although persistent piracy remains a key risk to operators.
