"If the fish isn't on your line, bait your hook and keep on trying." This classic line from the Marvelettes' song "Too Many Fish in the Sea" essentially describes how internet scam artists employ phishing tactics in social engineering schemes. Posing as a high-ranking executive, a fraudster baits an employee with an important email, tricking him or her to take the "bite" by wiring funds to an offshore bank account. By the time the company discovers the fraud, the money is long gone. But does the company's commercial crime policy cover the loss?
