They do things big in Texas, and so will ABA when its Annual Convention begins in San Antonio on Oct. 23. This year's event emphasizes three things: big issues; big ideas; and big impact.The big issues and ideas will be propelled by the convention's three featured speakers: Tom Brokaw, author and former anchor and managing editor of the NBC Nightly News; Frank Keating, ABA president and CEO; and Mark Zandi, chief economist of Moody's Analytics.In addition, Mark Olson, co-chairman of Treliant Risk Advisors and a former member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and a past ABA chairman, will moderate a panel discussion among leading bankers on "Decoding the Bank of the Future."
