Textile dyeing, printing and finishing is a sector that services the textile manufacturing industry by providing textile materials with the colours, designs, aesthetics and performance demanded by retailers and consumers. As a service sector, the prospects for textile dyeing, printing and finishing are inextricably linked to textile manufacturing, itself often dependent upon the disposable incomes of global consumers.At this time the faltering economy in the USA, the political uncertainty within the Eurozone and the fiscal problems surrounding the economies of certain European Union (EU) member states e.g. Greece, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and Italy have all driven down the level of demand for textile products.
