In order to cope with the increasing demand of textiles and apparel products' testing, global inspection, verification, testing and certification company SGS has recently inaugurated a new and larger testing laboratory in the southern Indian city of Tirupur, known as the largest center for the export of knitwear in India.As introduced, the new facility is now fully functional, installed with an independent effluent treatment plant for complying with statutory environmental regulations.
