The report filed in 2012 was based on manually collected data outside of the Allen Track system. A manual spreadsheet has been used since June 1, 2011 as a master log of all manuscripts in the system. The current report is based solely on the information that is provided by the Allen Track system. As a result, there are some inconsistencies and unreconciled differences between last year's report, this year's report, and our manual record-keeping. The differences, when present, are not large and appear to relate mainly to timing differences regarding changes in status of some papers.
