Home to many of Australia's best known brands, the Melbourne suburb of Richmond has always had a strong association with the TCF sector; the area boasts the highest percentage of clothing linked creative businesses in Australia, so it's perhaps no surprise that one of the textile and fashion industry's most ambitious and innovative developments should be unfolding there.Located at the Richmond campus of Kangan Institute, the new Textile and Fashion Hub is the result of a partnership led by the Council of Textile and Fashion Industries of Australia (TFIA) and encompassing Kangan Institute and the Federal Government through the Strategic Capability Program, administered by Auslndustry.
