David Spoto will lead the company following in the footsteps of his father Phillip, who cemented Fratelli Knitwear's position in the industry over the past 30 years. Phillip Spoto will continue to work at the firm."We want people to know that my father's 30 years of experience with the company is something that I've benefited from and I want him to continue with us," he said."The winter 2012 collection will feature new styling; we'll be producing garments that a younger generation would wear."While the firm had become established supplying collections for men aged 40 plus, the new styles were expected to broaden the label's customer base."Now, we're doing a range that will appeal to men aged 20 plus as well," he said."We will keep these two ranges separate; we'll retain the classics that have continued to do well and also do some modern pieces."
