摘要

The Textile Clothing and Footwear Union of Australia (TCFUA) has confirmed that its campaign to secure outstanding entitlements when Melbourne-based Blossom Road was shut has been successful. The 27 former workers at the Thomastown knitwear factory, who were owed more than $500,000, have called an end to regular protests outside Scanlan & Theodore's Little Collins Street store. The protests had taken place each Friday for the past four months.TCFUA national and state secretary Michele O'Neil said all of the union members at Blossom Road had received all of their entitlements in full, including long-service leave, annual leave, redundancy pay, notice pay and superannuation contributions.
