Concerns that tariffs on TCF products may be reduced earlier than the scheduled 2015 phase-down are mounting as Australia negotiates at least seven further Free Trade Agreements.rnSpeculation is that tariff reductions contained in the recently introduced ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA) may be repeated or even broadened during negotiations for FTAs in other regions. A fact sheet, produced by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, points to an aggressive approach to cutting tariffs for the AANZFTA, which took effect in January.
