摘要

In this report we evaluate the thermal-hydraulic perfomance of ice storage tanks based on model analyses applied to the actual equipment for a dynamic-type ice storage system employing supercooled water. Practical use of this energy storage system must be made in order to make good use its efficiency during ice-making. The efficiency is less in ice making than in chilled water. We explain the ice storage in large-scaled tanks and ice-melting performance for peak heat load in air conditioning. From the viewpoint of supplying energy capacity, the value of this system can be evaluated as being more than three times the energy compared to the static-type ice storage systems.
