No need to worry about whether someone turned off the lights after hours at Ray Laks Acura, Williamsville, N.Y.rnThe dealership is one of several in upstate New York and Pennsylvania with a computer-programmed system that monitors and controls energy use in the buildings. The system isrnpart of a co-op run by the Niagara Frontier Automobile Dealers Association (NFADA) for its 29 dealers. They pay a $4,000 start-up fee, recouped in saved energy costs in about two years, says dealer Ray Laks.
