Following a recent automaker trend, BMW has designed a four-door to look like a coupe-in this case, the all-new X6. The result: a potent four-seat crossover with love-it-or-hate-it styling. Sharing the same platform and dash as the X5, the all-wheel-drive X6 has less rear passenger room and cargo space (thanks to the severely sloped rear). But handling is just as nimble, and there are loads of features, including rain-sensing wipers, adaptive Xenon headlights, hill-descent control, power liftgate, soft-close automatic doors, and a 12-speaker stereo with CD/MP3 player. There's even a head-up display that projects speed and other info on the windshield. Price: $53,000. Mileage: 15 city/20 highway.
