At the recent NADA Board of Directors meeting in Palm Beach, Fla., $20,000 got NADA director W. Carroll Smith not only two ambassadorships in the association's Charitable Foundation Ambassadors Program, but also an original painting by Jack Leigh, NADA director from Tuscaloosa, Ala. At the close of the meeting, an auction was held for the painting-which Leigh donated-with NADA chairman Dale Willey serving as auctioneer. "It was a spirited auction, and I think Mr. Leigh was delighted with the winning bid," says Bruce Kelleher, NADA executive vice president and chief administrative officer."
