midst the backdrop of the iconic burst of Cherry Blossom trees bearing their brief once-a-year bloom, the 12th annual ARA Hill Days & State Legislative Summit took place on April 3 and 4, as ARA members convened in our Nation's Capitol to advocate to their Federal lawmakers and prioritize state legislative issues impacting the professional automotive recycling industry nationwide. While the scenery was a wonderland of beauty, automotive recyclers from over 20 states got serious about their participation in the annual Association events, which also included the midyear ARA Board of Directors meeting and the inaugural launch of the Future Leaders of Automotive Recycling Educational Summit (FLARES).
