摘要

In the mid to late 1980s Graham Naylor-Smith began his career as a capital projects engineer at the BBC designing facilities, including those at Westminster and Parliament, for BBC Radio. He joined Arup - designers, engineers and consultants across the world in almost every market sector - in 1993. He is an internationally renowned AV and multimedia consultant and a leading exponent of the benefits brought about through the convergence with IP-based systems and of the migration from analogue to digital technologies. "I believe passionately in the new opportunities being opened up through the convergence of AV and IT," says Naylor-Smith who is on the management of the new 'digital' team inside Arup, with responsibilities for AV and multimedia, ICT cabling and network infrastructures, and technology integration.
