On 28 June 2016, the AtaturkrnAirport in Istanbul, Turkey sufferedrna terrorist attack in whichrnsuicide bombs and automaticrnweapons are reported to havernkilled 48 persons, including the 3rnterrorists, and injured 230 people.rnThe Terrorists approached a securityrncheck point x-ray scannerrnand opened fire. Police returnedrnfire, then 2 assailants detonatedrntheir bombs – killing themselvesrnand many others. The third terroristrndetonated his bomb acrossrnthe street in the parking lot for therninternational terminal. He thenrnentered the terminal and wasrnengaged by security, who shotrnhim and approached as he wasrnlaying on the ground. They sawrna suicide bomb belt and ran, thernterrorist then exploding his bomb.
