Shown here is the "Alert" model airport crash truck, utilizing an all wheel drive International truck chassis. This particularrntruck had a 250 gallons per minute pump, a 500 gallon water tank, 50 gallons of foam, as well as CO2 and dry chemicalrnagents. The Rockwood foam system included a fog/foam roof turret, and a pair of fog/foam ground sweep nozzles. Thisrntruck was the ideal unit for smaller airports, and a number of this style apparatus were built by the Seagrave Corporation, ofrnColumbus, Ohio. This truck was built in 1959, for Key West International Airport, in Key West, Florida.
