Restoration work has started on Consolidated PB4Y-2 Privateer N3739G at the Pima Air & Space Museum, Tuscon, Arizona. The aircraft, which arrived at the attraction last year, has been repainted into a World War Two-era US Navy livery and is set to go on public display in the next few months. It served for many years as a fire-bomber with T&G Aviation, based at Chandler airfield, near Phoenix, Arizona. Following retirement, it was sold to the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston, Texas.
