Titan Airways is scheduled to take delivery of its maiden Airbus A321 in March. The London Stansted Airport-based carrier is overhauling its fleet, transitioning from an all-Boeing to an all-Airbus operator. The former Niki aircraft will be registered G-POWN (c 3830, ex OE-LET) and fitted with a 212-seat single-class cabin. Titan's Commercial Director Alastair Kiernan said: "The latest acquisition is part of a long-term strategy of fleet renewal. All of the aircraft in the Airbus A320 product line are economical to operate, with lower fuel burn and lower carbon emissions. Plus, the aircraft cabins are spacious and modern for a more comfortable passenger in-flight experience."
