Daniel L. Cheever has been promoted from captain to rear admiral (lower half); he will be assigned as chief of Naval Air Training, Corpus Christi, Texas. And William J. Houston has been promoted from captain to rear admiral (lower half); he will be assigned as deputy commander, Joint Functional Component Command-Global Strike, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt AFB, Nebraska.
